Tasks & accountabilities

APSYS is looking for a new talent to reinforce its team. By joining us, you will be an actor of the Product Safety Process, and by such you will ensure the safety of our customer’s products. You will intervene more particularly in the production domain, and will treat all potentially « Safety-Relevant » issues discovered before or after A/C delivery that could have an origin in production activities (e.g. at the Centres of Excellence, Final Assembly Lines and Suppliers).

Tasks & accountabilities
Specific responsibilities of the position are:

  • Safety support on activities link to “Manage safety in Production” Process
  • Analyse Root Cause Analysis dossier and challenge available information (root cause, corrective actions…) in order to ensure the folder consistency / completeness.
  • Fresh eyes analyze of the “Manage safety in Production” Process
  • Be part of the Safety Manufacturing Panel periodic meetings
  • To ensure that all lessons learned are identified and taken into account, for in-service, under development and future aircraft.

Required skills

Technical Skills :
Your Boarding Pass

  • Generalist or Aeronautical Engineer
  • Knowledge in general physics of aircraft, avionics systems / ATA chapters
  • Knowledge in manufacturing and production assembly (especially mechanical aspects)
  • Knowledge in Root Cause Analysis methods (Pareto, Ishikawa, 5 WHY…)
  • Knowledge in safety analysis, airworthiness and regulation is a plus.
  • Analytical & problem solving mind
  • English fluent
  • Ability in communication, negotiation
  • Technical analysis and synthesis capacity
  • Ability to lead and make reporting
  • Autonomous
